Sod Rolls

Our sod is cut in easy to handle rolls. Each roll is a standard 18 in. x 72 in. size. And weighs between 20 – 30 Lbs. We also have Big Rolls (4 ft. x 62.5 ft.), these giant rolls are delivered and installed.

Bluegrass Sod

Bluegrass sod makes a very beautiful lawn. It has a finer blade than fescue giving it a very nice texture. It is typically not as drought tolerant as fescue although with proper irrigation, you can have a beautiful bluegrass lawn year round.

At Vissers Nursery & Sod Farm we deliver topsoil or have them in bags ready for pick up.

Stakes

Sod stakes are perfect for installing ground cover by securing the landscape fabric. The stakes anchor the ground cover in place so the wind does not blow it away. On slopes use stakes to keep sod in place to minimize erosion.
